Oh wow!! Which wallet were you using? I leave sats on a wallet solely for zapping so I never care to look because it’s not my bread and butter … but if we’re onboarding artists and musicians (or people who collect sats to live) this may pose a massive problem??

Is the issue client specific or just something to be addressed in general?? Maybe we should collectively create a bounty so someone can earn sats and devote time to fixing it? Idk how to help.

It was coinos. Pretty sure they worked on fixing it. And themselves announced it when they found out. But if that's happened any other possibility is there. And the attackers I am sure are looking at and checking every possible avenue to collect sats. So I am sure it is happening in a variety of ways they can find a way in. This place has been hackers paradise targeting noobs like myself from the very first few days I joined 13+ months ago. It's after all a social media for bitcoiners according to wikipedia.

While valid, artists and musicians or content creators" and "inflooncers" are definitely not the only ones who might be looking at investing their creative life force in exchange of zaps reciprocations and spending majority of time on nostr. Creative flow comes in variety of ways and not just mainstream algorhytmically captured and directed fit in a box content flow.

Just my 2 sats. 🤷🏻‍♀️😊

No you’re right. I’m not into tech whatsoever so it’s not innate for me to consider everyone. That’s a blind spot that I need to get better at. There are more people that offer value other than creatives and influencers.

I don’t know how to fix these things or even how to think about a fix for these things but I hope it changes. It does us no good to have something if it’s vulnerable to theft.
