I have only ever brewed 3-4 liters at a time, because I brew with no other equipment than regular kitchen pots and utensils, from grain and hops grown on my land. Brewing bigger batches would require longer continuous periods of free time. My method takes no more cumulative time than preparing a regular meal, from malting to bottling. Bigger batches would also require purchasing larger vessels, which on principle I refuse to do, because I believe that simpler is better. #homebrewing
