Anyone have feedback on fees for buying Crypto? CashApp versus Moonpay versus Crypto.com ?

Cashapp, low fee vs pretty big spread. They're customers aren't looking at price charts. Beware that they'll ban you for sending your Bitcoin to any address that they deem 'suspicious' for any reason.

Moonpay, BIG spread, about $2k, but you only pay a real network fee to have your Bitcoin sent to your wallet, so around $1.50 or less.

Crypto.com I have never used because I have never trusted. So I can't say.

Oh but your spread on moonpay also changes with your purchase amount. You get a little bit better deal for a bigger buy.

Ah, I noticed that anything that uses Moonpay charges 5%

that is bad lol

I wanna say my last few buys via moonpay through edge wallet I ended up giving up about 2.5%. Like I would buy $200 and end up with $195 worth of Bitcoin in my wallet. So not too bad.

They charged me 5% , you lucky

I think that also depends on how much you buy. And maybe the charge different spreads through different services. Like there are a lot of mobile wallets that integrate moonpay and maybe some of them have special deals worked out. I don't know.

Oh I did $204

Do you usually do smaller amounts

No I usually throw 100-200 at Bitcoin whenever the price has been down for a few days.

Think that’s gonna be my strategy too. Last time , 2 years ago, I bought as it was going up lol

I've lost so much over the years trading, especially trading with leverage for a while.

And I've made money but not as much as I should have.

I bought my first 5 BTC at $17 and sold the whole stack at $242. That was the bull run that it ran up close to $1200.

Did you see the zap I sent ? Testing out Damus
