David MacKay did the math for England back in 2008 in a very educating book that I highly recommend.

Unfortunately nuclear power is banned in Australia because we’re governed by retards. Our current Energy Minister attacks the opposition (who have begun supporting it after losing the last election) every time they raise it and with the ban in place we’ve got no chance here.
Hopefully other countries pull their heads out but I fear the zealots in power won’t allow it
