There's over 8 billion people on the planet. You can't worry about them all. You can just worry about the ones close to you who you can help.

It's harder to think of humanity not as a whole. Next time your gazing at the stars, remember that GN-z11 that is 32 billion light years away. Remember that light travels around the world seven times a second. Earth is utterly insignificant. If there's a God, does he really hear our prayers? thereβs geo political reason and tribalism was written in human nature. true open monetary and social networking protocols might reshape the geo political status and thus rewrite the gene of our off springs, hopefully π€
it's a mixed bag. it's not hard on an abstract level. but to be emotionally involved with the fate of strangers would be exhausting.
