🇬🇧 The price of imports BEFORE tariffs has not fallen in the US. Therefore, the prices after (the higher) tariffs have had to rise and have been paid by the US importer.

PD: The only way to avoid paying them would be for companies exporting to the US to lower their prices before tariffs. But it didn't happen.

🇪🇸 El precio de las importaciones ANTES de aranceles no ha bajado en los EEUU. Por tanto, los precios DESPUÉS de (los mayores) aranceles han tenido que subir y los ha tenido que pagar el importador estadounidense.

PD: La única forma de evitar pagarlos sería que las empresas que exportan a los EEUU redujeran sus precios antes de aranceles. Pero no ha sucedido.
