Skepticism is asking a dogma to offer provable facts to substantiate the ideals within the the system of beliefs. As a well versed childhood acolyte of the Christian faith, I’d be happy to have a discussion about this, though you should probably know going in that I may offer facts that fracture the foundation of your faith. I don’t believe there is ever a justified reason to move past skeptical analysis of one’s beliefs, even less so when the belief itself eschews critical analysis as blasphemous acts against its deity.

This is what atheists always say, it's not an argument I'm interested in having again. I agree with always testing your beliefs. But God isn't a belief, he's a person, and skepticism ends where trust begins. Once someone wins your trust, there are new, personal truths to be uncovered that analysis cannot approach.

I’m all about respecting your wishes. I’m not an atheist by the way, atheism often acts as a religious dogma of its own. I’m convinced that the only god I could ever believe exists is one that is the epitome of sadistic evil. Maybe food for thought, or not. Whatever it takes to live our best lives right?
