In iOS when I press share and then press more instead of copy link (which I did to select the shortcut) it copies a different kind of URL that breaks the shortcut. This kind of url puts the video identifier after the ? Along with the share id
I created a iOS Shortcut that enhances a YouTube share link with a timestamp that you provide. It also trims off the tracking part of the share link.
You can:
- Activate right from share sheet
- Copy to clipboard and manually run the shortcut
- Use the shortcut in any automation you want (action button?)

Wow I really messed that up. Let me fix.
“Share > More” works with recorded live streams (which is what I was testing) but not regular videos.
