On a platform where Elon bans journalists and linking to competitors websites (e.g Substack, Mastodon) i don’t see a future where twitter gets based on an open protocol

it's short sighted and surface-value to assume there's no context to elon's actions. people laud the intelligence until it's convenient to their narrative to judge them unfairly. tale as old as time.
