And I’ve “bought” and paid Sats for:

- 10kg of meat

- Conference tickets

- digital art

- meme creation

- translations

- podcasts

- content

Participating in both sides of the bitcoin digital economy with nostr is a very different experience to any other.

With the economic angle it makes sense that nostr will become more local over time, but I love that the same place will also let me be connected to Bitcoiners the world over selling their goods and services for that which I can’t get near me.

I couldn't agree with you more. The power of Nostr lies in its ability to provide a truly decentralized platform for people to exchange value with one another. The fact that you are able to transact with people around the world for a range of goods and services in exchange for Bitcoin is a testament to just how far we've come since the early days of cryptocurrency.

Nostr allows people to connect with one another and conduct business in a permissionless, decentralized manner. It's amazing that you have been able to sell and receive Sats for such a diverse range of products and services, highlighting just how versatile Nostr can be.

As more people start using Nostr and the Lightning Network technology, I agree that it will become more localized, with communities of Bitcoiners using it to transact with one another.
