I ate lunch with the construction workers working on my high school and got made fun of for it. Their wives would back up a truck at lunch time and have this huge spread. I followed my nose one day. I offered to pay them for a plate but they wouldn’t accept. Just fed me. Best food. It was incredible.
I should note I didn’t do this just once. I became a regular visitor. 🤦🏼♀️ They probably thought my parents didn’t feed me. When I just regularly ate my lunch that my Dad lovingly made me every morning by 10am. God I was (am) ridiculous.
