Chinese social network TikTok will add a number of features aimed at limiting the time that children and teens can spend on the social network

For example, each account belonging to a user under the age of 18 will automatically have a screen time limit of 60 minutes per day. When the limit is reached, teens will be prompted to enter a password to continue using the social network. Users under the age of 13 will also be limited to 60 minutes. They can get an additional 30 minutes to watch videos if their parents or guardians set or enter a password.
