I wouldn't know. Always had the tracking turned off and never logged in.

Time to turn it off, but good to know the exact day I googled it. Feel like an idiot that it took so long to get it.

better late than never! I dont really use google service at all anymore. Its been quite a journey! happy to discuss

turning off google informing me about what I googled is not the same as them no longer tracking me. So I guess I need to stop using my google accounts all together... That sounds like a painful journey, and I am not sure where it ends and if it is worth it?

it was a painful journey at the beginning but well worth it. I realize how much more surveillance they do now and sign ins and integration with everything etc, i am glad I switched to ProtonMail, OpenStreet maps / HereMaps, , Bromite browser/Kiwi Browser/BraveBrowser, etc. And yes the journey does end once you eliminate google products from your digital life. Its a great feeling! I took it even a step further and de-googled my phone and replaced the Android version it came with from the manufacturer with #LineageOS and purely open-source version of android without all the frills and manufacturer apps and no google emebeded in it. one of the first things you can do, is SIGN INTO TO A PHONE. This makes androids more like iphones, where you have to sign in to use them. Not for me. You can use app stores like F-Droid and Aurora Store instead which I swear by.
