No-KYC approaches are still there, which does peer to peer fiat and btc exchange. They are not effected by Silvergate, or any on/off-ramp solution.

Short term, in terms of price driving adoption, sure. Zoom out, medium term, I think it accelerates the self-custody and true ownership message faster than the adoption curve would. All of this was inevitable. Better to get it done and move forward.
