I assume it will change, as I believe bitcoin is the new M0 (monetary base unit) and a new Extirs pyramid will be build on top of it. I expect to see the change in 2025 as the BIS will allow up to 2% bank reserves to be held in bitcoin.

Bitcoin over collaterised loans are available, around 8% rates. Currently can’t get the same LVR as fiat, but I’m ok with that. Still counter party risk, but allows you to borrow to buy a home while retaining bitcoin exposure. “Have your cake and eat it too.”

Do you happen to know the UTXO management of this arrangement? Unchained Capital had a 2 of 3 multi-sig arrangement for BTC collateral, insuring no rehypothication. They charged 15% apr and had a 250% VTL!
