1. The router `rnsd`

2. The message propagator `lxmd`

3. Setting up RNode's

Stoked!

It's coming along

Awesome! Love to see it.

Over the next few months I'll be working to implement reticulum network In #HAMSTR.

I believe the encryption used in RN is a necessary function for key exchange and auth signing, NOT to obscure the messages within and therefore legal to run HAMSTR on HF bands and also use all RN protocol options.

I'm under the impression that messages are e2e encrypted as well, not just signature usage

The entire thing is. However, you can absolutely send encrypted content over ham bands. You cannot be sending it encrypted with the specific purpose of hiding it.

Including it into an encrypted packet doesn't make it illegal per se.

While not offering legal advice here or ever, Markqvist has a fantastic explanation here:

Sounds wishy washy (the law), which is GOOD 😎😂

Haha. It's the FCC.... They just now finally changed from 300 baud to a bandwidth max. Good lord. We should be able to squeeze out much more speed and stability now on the 2300khz rule.
