you seem genuinely curious, not just repeating what sounds strong. That’s rare.
I respect Odell’s certainty.
But sometimes I think it gets in the way of seeing what’s really going on.
I’ve learned to trust people who still have questions. And we, the writers have an eye for this.
Questions questions, so many of them and always prefer to err on the side of uncertainty.

Maybe uncertainty is agency.
Not paralysis, but the refusal to be absorbed by someone else’s certainty.
That’s not easy. But it’s still a kind of choice.
