Y’all reallly have your head deep into the ground. I think you guys are overdosing the Bitcoin Maxi Dream coolaid.

The biggest finger you can show the monetary system including banks and governments is to exit the system and doing so by playing by the rules.

Use KYC/registered companies to accumulate your Bitcoin (you can self custody after if you wish).

Once you have accumulated a nice stack, sell a portion on these registered services. Declare your gains, pay your taxes, comply to the system.

Use the remaining and pay off your loans, mortgages, any debt. After this is pure Freedom. You have exited the system. Get yourself a house in the woods and grow your stuff and stay out of the system.

Beat them by their rules.

Or you can just listen to these influencers that make money off your back and these unregistered companies that sells you their overrated, useless hardwares and all with the feeling that you are beating the system and that one day you will be rich.

You Bitcoiners are nothing more than crypto bros with a concentrated portfolio in Bitcoin.

I feel a need to repeat myself:

How hard are you hallucinating my friend ????

I have been lucky to be debt free almost all of my grown life (not an american) and it doesn't make me "win" whatsover ;D

I can be fined if I don't register my address, I can be fined if I don't carry an ID on me, and I don't have a say to how much tax I want to pay or where my tax euros are going to.

Mister @Chris Liss has made a beautiful point here about how cold storage disables authorities abuse our freedoms in secrecy. For example @Lyudmyla Kozlovska had many great conversations on different podcasts about authoritarian regimes (and not only) blocking funds, and we only know about it cause people like her are dedicating their lives to make it public.

They can block a bank account (say, Russias) with no fuss, but they can't quietly cease the BTC of say, El Salvador

I think your anger is making you missing the point. I mentioned “you can self custody after if you wish”. That means you can use cold storage.

The point is that Bitcoin is a store of Value, it’s an asset. Bitcoin won’t give you any more Freedom except financial freedom with its hedge on inflation and devaluation of the monetary system.

You could put your fiat under your mattress and no banks or government would be able to take it if they don’t know you have it. Same thing with Bitcoin in self custody. The only difference is that Bitcoin will gain value and fiat won’t.

I think these Bitcoiners got to your head mate. The same ones being paid in Fiat by YouTube and Twitter, being sponsored, telling you you need a calculator made of titanium with NASA protection when all you need is a pen, paper and dices. The same ones you are zapping because they post pictures of their abs and are barely 21ys old.

Go ahead mate, dream of freedom thinking you are part of a revolution and soon you won’t need your ID because you have sats on your Coldcard.

Do kindly visit nostr:npub10atn74wcwh8gahzj3m0cy22fl54tn7wxtkg55spz2e3mpf5hhcrs4602w3 for the latest episode about bitcoin in context of Russia you might understand a thing or two about freedom. @Odell does have a baby smooth skin i have to admit I understand you mistake him for a teenager but I bet he has grown mans abs 🫢🤭🤫

And to really make a point in repeating myself, please, I beg you, go listen to at least one podcast with nostr:npub13ajk3hhvqys2ev4y68jwxywgs8fsdsuk4y5gkzs874jdyrccvf5qak2yd9 or at least read through her profile a bit and maybe you can start gaining some sympathy for the unfinanced

I agree twitter, youtube algos and so on do foster rage but it does originate in stupid ignorant takes whatever the platform is

Just because people own a better form of money doesn't mean they will always make sound decisions with their money, its theres to do with as they please, the sat board humbles us all over a long enough time period

Ofcourse we all need lifestyle chips here and there to keep going, impulse buying doesn't go away, and theres more than one way to play it.

For example some will opt to go debt free, while others prefer to extend the debt, acquire bitcoin and feel the cheaper fiat payments in the future will reduce the debt burden
