This is exactly it. There’s a lot of grifters that talk the talk, but their actions say something different. They say nostr will be the Twitter, Spotify, Instagram, Substack killer, but what they don’t tell you is they don’t hate what those platforms stand for, they hate that they don’t own them.

They see nostr as their chance to finally make a popular platform they control and can get rich off of. If their podcast is hosted on anchor, or their nostr account is a Primal one, that really tells you all you need to know.
