i've been wanting to do it for a year or so. which is why i built the from scratch LND and CLN nodes last summer as a proof of concept. i just never built a machine worthy of the upgrade and i didn't want to have to close all of my channels. but now im seeing that i won't have to close them down if i migrate the data directories and db. i doubt i'll be able to migrate tor and keep the same onion URLs. im reading about that now.
