"Marriage" is a contract creating a corporation (BUSINESS) and has nothing to do with living people. This is why there is always trouble from "the State" when you decide to do something else. Fines, fees, licenses, judgments, etc., because CORPSES "operate" in the sea of Commerce, not the 3-D world of people.
