These events are related only in the minds of the ignorant about #economics , what's happening in #Myanmar, and how #tariffs work.

#Myanmar and any other affected territories' exports shall become more affordable to local consumers, because the latter won't be bidding anymore against the #American consumers to buy the former.

Also, critics can't have it both ways - claim that tariffs shall be ineffective, because only #Americans shall pay them (true), and at the same time claim that the same tariffs shall devastate economies of target territories.😄
