They want a brazilian, and them being progressive or conservative doesn't come into consideration
I suppose it's not really about what the clergy want as they can't vote, but yeah nationality does seem to play a part. I don't think they'll go for another South American pope next, but who knows.
I suppose it's not really spoken of about politics proper but more orthodox or non-orthodox Catholic, maybe.
