It was super easy to setup. Install the plugin, fill in 3 fields. Update Nostr profile. Boom

I have the btc pay sever extension on Mynode but it prompts me to enter email and password and no link to signup. Why do I need an email to use?

BtcPayserver has its own login prompt since it supports multiple users. You setup a user/pass to access it.

where do I set up an account, I can't find on the sign up on website or through Mynode

Don't know. Check MyNode docs.

Not right out of the box. You can do some reverse proxy magic to hide your IP AFAIK.

Ah okay so it's really not an easy-to-setup non-custodial alternative to WoS or Alby unfortunately. Too bad. Might just setup satdress or some other light-weight solution then.
