The biggest incentive for men to get ahead finantially is because it sends a signal to women that they are capable of protect and provide in order to build a family. Men will literally live in a cave without an issue until they have decided to settle down or attract better partners.

I hope a lot o girls see this video and comment if they would consider someone living like this legend as a viable father for their children. I don't think so but I am not a woman (as far as I know).
