Why don't you let users configure a personal custom node/spectrum? Do you want to spy on your users?

Nobody is forcing you to use it.

Most of their services are close to free.

Use a different free wallet if you want that.

Thank you, I completely agree. Do you have any idea why they might not permit it? Do you think there's a technical reason?

I don't think it's their customer.

Their goal has always been to orange pill as many people as possible.

That means simplicity over functionality sometimes.

Tradeoffs.

I expect it also adds more complexity with little benefit.

This makes a lot of sense. 🤟
