I guess I understand what you’re trying to say, but I would say not at all.

You didn’t create the fly.

God created us on His image.

Flys don’t look like us.

God paid the penalty for our sins to not leave us in our sin.

Flys don’t sin.

We paid no price for the fly.

We have no ability to offer salvation.

But in terms of God coaxing us where he wants us to go, that is always towards him. As Hebrews 12 plainly lays out, our discipline is, as a good father, to bring us to Him.

It is all but for His glory and our good. Christ is King.
