Been doing self-custody since day 1. I can’t imagine surrendering custody to a third-party. Around me (not many bitcoiners in my life tbh?) this is considered a wild thing—like keeping gold in a safe at home.

This reminds me: we’ve kept gold in a safe place (“l’olla de monedes d’or” in Catalan) for millennia. And it’s ok.
