101: Buying non-KYC bitcoin on nostr:nprofile1qqsyx53h3h7ec4fwlspjq0kqec5gv54t7rc48xdtq6q4y94wsw4fnjqprdmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuumpw3ehgunpd35kztnrdakj7qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhrq7rrdpshgtnrdakj7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uhgml9t with nearly 0 fees, privately and humbly.

This is not trading advice, this is stacking advice.

1. Learn how to use Robosats. Give it a couple minutes, it will pay off. https://learn.robosats.org/read/en/

2. Get a reliable custodial lightning wallet, eg. Wallet of Satoshi (you can use it anonymously). Yes, custodial. It's cheap and reliable. Don't keep your savings there! Load it with ~40K sats. You'll need it for the escrow.

3. Be a maker. Create a buy offer. Switch to the advanced mode. Use a range instead of a fixed amount. Keep it under whatever is interesting for your bank's surveillance, eg. €400–€600 at a time. Use 0% fee. Do it in the morning. Set the expiry time to an hour before your bedtime. Set the escrow % to the lowest possible. Don't be greedy when choosing the coordinator, use the most reputable ones. (Their support comes handy from time to time.)

4. Be patient.

5. When the offer is taken, be kind and communicate clearly.

6. After receiving the sats, convert them to onchain with Boltz (use Tor). There will be fees here. Live with it.

– If you have KYC bitcoin, make sure to learn how to separate it from your non-KYC stack.

– Optional step: use Liquid in the middle for even better privacy (eg. with Blockstream app).

7. Rinse and repeat.

I've heard that selling might sometimes be tricky, but buying on Robosats is safe from my experience.

This is v0.1 of this guide. If you see something that could be improved, please comment – I will be happy to update.

I use Robo everyday. I’ve sold a few times and it’s a breeze. Learn how to use wasabi wallet as well for conjoins

Dishonest buyers use bank claim systems to reverse the fiat payments. It ends up with the seller's account closure by the bank, unfortunately. Happened to someone I know, with Revolut.

bull btc wallet is an good privacy

Thanks for this, but still KYC because you have to onboard your fiat from Strike and other apps that require KYC

Fair point. Fiat tokens are sent through banking rails. But KYC isn’t required to purchase bitcoin – it’s only needed to transfer fiat to another person’s bank account. Therefore, it’s not directly connected to the bitcoin you’re buying. Your counterparty gets to know your identity though. Not ideal, but it's a huge improvement in comparison to exchanges (both virtual and local) or atms, as all of them require IDs.

Yep, struggling to find out how to use USD to buy ANY TOKEN without KYC. All the Bisq, Robosats, etc. don't let send money from US Bank system. Strike, Coinbase, etc. all need IDs to connect a bank....killing me

Robosats allows you to add your preferred payment methods, when you are making an offer. Even when it's not on their list. Have you tried that?

Thanks, sent a DM

Is it possible to use Western Union?
