Yeah, one of the interesting points the books makes is not to equate democracy to the simple act of voting, but to the rights that citizens are entitled and voting being utilized as a correction mechanism that shouldn’t be able to topple those rights 💪

i can get behind that. per that explanation i can be more of an open mind when i hear friends mention democracy. i used to immediately default to my prior understanding of the word. excuse the late response lol. holidays.
