I think that now, two years later, there's enough of all y'all who are NEW here and have not yet seen it to justify a reprint.
Also, I just needed some inspiration and encouragement today. My creative juices have been awfully slow-flowing lately.😢

Like a tire with a flat spot,
Or an elbow out of joint
Like a ladder with a missing rung,
A pencil short a point
Like a rainstorm falling on a dime,
A lightbulb with a hole
Like a jar of jam with one big lump,
A broken piece of coal
My life is out of balance
And my days are all consumed
By my latest fascination;
All competing thoughts are doomed
I've lost all track of time and space,
My head's stuck in a hole;
Important matters set aside,
Obsession's on a roll
Life now has a single focus—
Normal balance isn't it—
I've become a one-track zombie
In an epileptic fit
Won't you help me? Look! I'm drowning
In an ocean deep as hell,
Sinking deeper by the minute
Trapped within obsession's spell...
There's so many things I need to do...
If I could just break free...
Pray for me...
