The problem with your argument is we don’t just want bitcoin to win, we want humans to win.

Bitcoin is essentially a pacifist technology, since it prevents enforcement of collective pooling of resources, some of which go to defence.

The ultra-individualist privacy-loving, zero tax paying bitcoiner can do well in a well-armed state. But take that same individual and put him in a state where everyone is like him and suddenly there is no pooled resources to defend from external threats and the nation gets conquered by those outside who cooperate better.

A literary example of this is Lord of the Flies by William Golding.
