I’ve tried to explain to people what i’m worried about, but its just a gut feeling something is wrong, and they don’t grasp it. A ton of people got a big taste of it yesterday.

Could it be the current political class isn’t working for the common man anymore and is actively destroying the middle class?

Actively or ignorantly. I don’t even think most of the political class knows how bad it can get… they seem cocky. Nobody thinks it could happen here.

But all around the world you see the consequences of ignoring your people for some extra incentives.
