This is something for my very smart bitcoin friends that break the spaghetti.

When you drop spaghetti into boiling water, the starch granules undergo gelatinization, absorbing water and softening until they reach a perfect, flexible state. This means there's no need to break them; they'll naturally become pliable. Additionally, leaving them whole allows them to better adhere to and collect sauce due to their increased surface area and unbroken structure, enhancing the overall flavor experience.
