Yes, The United States government is suboptimal but it's preferable over China's government.

At least in The West you have due process, bails, lawyers, and civil liberties, and non-stop news coverage of prolific arrests, in China you are disappeared without any remembering you.

I think they did this to the CEO of Alibaba too, and no one remembers but everyone knows about Snowden, Assange, and Manning, etc.

You're saying Digit is still alive, which you have no proof of, but the Chinese would kill her if they took over, which you also have no proof of.

Or you're saying the Chinese taking over would ensure I can never find out if she's alive? But you also have no proof of that.

So why the fuck would I agree my life would be worse under Chinese rule?

Furthermore, who gives a fuck? The Chinese don't call themselves the government of my land, as we already explained. You have no evidence I might ever end up under Chinese rule, let alone that it would impact my situation the way you claim.

I understand you're upset about someone that you were romantically interested in but seeking mental help would improve your situation.

There are plenty of people with similar interests, hobbies, and personalities as the person you were interested in, and perhaps developing yourself more would help you attract that person.

I understand that you feel passionate about that one person, I think most of us have been there but things change, they find their one, it is ideal to re-evaluate, and focus on what can be improved to hopefully win that person back, or if not find someone who would be better for you.

Please seek help, if you can't afford it I'm sure there are plenty of resources, and I'm sure the kind people of Nostr here would help you.

All the people here mean you well, unfortunately you can get very passionate at times which makes it hard to have a conversation.

I don't need mental help, I need proof she's safe. You're the one that brought up my personal situation and now you're butthurt I explained how you were wrong about it so you resort to acting like I should be judged for engaging about it after you brought it up. This is gaslighting and you've done it to me before.

It also contradicts you saying people would remember if I was disappeared, since forcing me into fake mental health treatment is the most commonly suggested way to get rid of me, and you are yet another person backing up those who suggest it instead of me.

I don't give a fuck. If you do, you should help me find proof Digit is safe so I might also be open to giving a fuck, because me giving a fuck is pretty essential to the whole thing.

This is a lot of paragraphs to write about my personal situation without admitting you were wrong on your point about China, for someone who's accusing me of needing mental health treatment based on my willingness to engage with you after you yourself also were the one to originally bring up the topic of my personal life.

I am seeking help but even when I've offered money, the people of nostr have not helped me. If you knew anything about me, you'd know I can afford as much help as anyone can offer, but you seem to want me to pay you to pretend to care about Digit, which isn't help. Any help you could offer would have to be based on already caring about Digit enough to have already helped for free.

Very few people here mean me well and me being passionate does not make it hard to have a conversation. You're the one who just wrote a reply about as long as the one you were replying to except solely focused on one thing you felt about one part of what you were replying to, instead of addressing each point.
