That's not even mentioning how much bullshit might be in the ground too, meaning just metal shit that the mine detectors will be sensing, so that'll slow you down.
Or if you're having to deal with enemy contact. Or how densely spaced the mines may be. While there is a doctrine to these things, soldiers get sloppy, and leaders can decide "fuck it, space em closer together".
