Yeah! I should correct myself though. I think these avatars are great if the pubkey haven’t broadcast a kind 0 event that included a value in the picture field. I’m not sure if I think they should be naively used as a fallback if there are CORS issues or not though.

yeah same. I rather have people yell at me for something being broken than yell at me for displaying the wrong photo or for covering up something thats broken.
