David Lynch

Coen Bros (do they count as 2, or 1?)

Kevin Smith

Jonathan Frakes

(Kubrick definitely deserves a mention, he did some stunning work with the Moon landings 🤪)

😂😂

Cohen brother’s are a unit for sure. I watched No Country For Old Men the other day… what a masterpiece.

Also, Blue Velvet is one of my favorite movies. Lynch’s best work imo.

Blue Velvet is a great movie! And I'm quite the fan of Lost Highway too .. but Twin Peaks is where it's at, I can't get enough!

I enjoy ALL Coen brothers .. my "go to" favourite has got to be Big Lebowski .. but they're ALL great movies! 🍿

🤙🏼

Yeah The Big Lebowski is my favorite movie. It’s got it all.

An underrated Cohen brother’s movie is their first, Blood Simple. That movie is a world class thriller imo.

Blood Simple! I did an analysis of that movie for an early college assignment.. brilliant!

I was truly shook the first time I watched that movie. The low budget movies that are fundamentally so strong and well made always have a place in my heart. Similar to Reservoir Dogs.

Low budget is where strong story has to be paramount .. have you seen Primer? Low budget, time travel, excellent story arc ..🤙🏼

No but I will definitely check it out. Thanks.

One that I feel flew under the radar that I absolutely love is Killing Them Softly. Have you seen it? Not low budget but underrated for sure imo

I'll definitely check it out .. thanks 🙏🏼

Also, I just tried zapping you and it has failed twice .. is your address correct?

Never mind .. 🤙🏼

Danny Boyle

Wes Anderson

Ridley Scott

Denis Villeneuve

(James Cameron)

Honorable mention: Helmut Dietl.

Solid list! Love films by all of them. What’s your favorite Wes Anderson film? Mine is Rushmore.

Probably The Royal Tenenbaums with Rushmore being a close second. Probably just because I watched Tenenbaums first.
