so, i'm starting on the new regime today.
3L of 1.6% fat semi-skim (meio gordo) pasture fed UHT milk, ~62.5g of 10% fat 100% cacao powder, ~15g of marnoto brand sea salt (from algarve), and 125g of 80% fat pasture fed salted Agros brand butter (milk and butter both from Azores), mix together in a big pot, heat to ~50'C and drink slowly like endless coffee.
i love the taste of it, and coffee drinkers might be amused to know that i'm getting about 50mg of caffeine with my stack, but that is less than half a cup of coffee.
the real stuff, drug-wise is theobromine, which is relaxing my blood vessels and increasing my kidney elimination.
the other great things in this mix is ~99g of protein, around 1.4g/kg, about 150g of milk fat, somewhere around 150g of lactose, and shitloads of cacao antioxidants, magnesium and iron, and between the lactose and the cacao fibre more than enough to give my intestines a good flush and slow my fat digestion enough that i don't get colic.
it is something of a hybrid between detox and a training diet.
indeed, today after 4 days of rest but 1 day after walking a 12kg stack of milk cartons in a backpack 4 miles i'm planning to do 60 pushups and 120 situps in 4 sets.
the best thing about this stack is it only costs about 5 euros a day, and after it i should be able to manage to not eat any significant amount of anything else. probably will have popcorn again this evening but when i run out of the last 125g pack of that i'm quit on the cards.
the popcorn upsets my crazy wisdom tooth. none of the rest of this stack causes any problems. the main cause of the problem: sugars.
with no sucrose, fructose, glucose, maltose or the long chain starches that contain high levels of those that are released by saliva enzymes, i get no pain or inflammation in my rather unhappy wisdom tooth.
plus, i get quite good quality cognitive function out of the deal as well, which is helping me write code that is a lot less challenging than the usual stuff i do.
