Oh shit 😂

Does D-Wave count?

Key word is useful. By that I mean a computer that can perform operations infeasible for conventional computers.

D Wave looks like bull to me. I don’t believe it. I want to see a real demonstration of Shor’s algorithm factorising large numbers. Simulating materials sounds like just making stuff up.

There are drugs on the market that are a direct result of the computational results from these machines.

It looks like AI can do similar things (AlphaFold), but perhaps not exactly the same.

I don’t believe these are tasks that are done with quantum computation. More like randomness mixed with some kind of goal seeking, but I’m just guessing (and so are they).
