Made a pecan pie completely from scratch yesterday.

I would have never known to use cellophane on both sides to roll out a pie crust. And did you know how nerve wracking it is to get a newly formed pie crust into the pie dish? Nuts.

Speaking of nuts, theres a pecan cracker called the Texas Native Inertia Nutcracker.

You get whole or half pecans, almost no broken pieces.

Super grateful for all the opportunities to learn.
