I own exactly one watch and I wear it every day: the Marathon 41MM GSAR, Arctic Edition.
It's a tool watch that goes with 99% of my wardrobe.
I don't need another watch.

$1700 in 2025.
Much more reasonable than a Rolex.
amezing luck 🤞
I like analogs.
In other news, these Japanese made Ironman re-releases are exceptional if you’re into bare bones (I wont wear bluetooth or wifi enabled watches on my person) digital watches for lap counting, or timing your rest periods without having to stare at the watch while resting.

I was buying vintage versions of the Ironman originals that looked like this, but they are prone to button failure and the markings wearing off due to age.
That’s a good watch! I like the gas tubes.
Solid.
Your stock just went up in my books sir. As a recovering watch collector degen that is a great watch! Marathon are one of the only watchmakers with real milspec credentials. The one watch collection is the holy grail for watch nerds. I’m glad you found Nirvana!
Nice I want a Linjer for my first automatic
For whatever reason, watch positioning is not a natural intuition for guys.
The watch should be snug just at above the tip of the radius bone, such that the wrist can move in every direction in a completely unencumbered manner.

Very cool and more importantly reliable and tough. I also have only one watch - much cheaper but also automatic and EMP proof not for diving, though. Never bothered to set the date. . . even after 9 years.

Looks nice 👍
Love my stainless steel Navigator from Marathon.
Very beautiful 👍
