I’m pretty much at the point where I do not believe anything on the market today that is sold as “100% grass fed” is actually that, unless I personally know the farmer selling the product.

No way to verify that claim outside of lab testing. Especially with fats.

Many people are being unknowingly lied to.

#organic is scam

unless self - verfiied

USDA organic isn’t a complete scam, nostr:nprofile1qqs27annlvyatx8tvvnje4lxc8gkzsp3eh7qsnzxpaw4fxlrxhw8vvqprfmhxue69uhkummnw3ezummjv9hxwetsd9kxctnyv4mqzrthwden5te0dehhxtnvdakqugwvut has done videos on this.

3rd party lab testing is still the only way to verify any of these claims.

Reading this as I purchased grass fed tallow balm on Amazon moments ago.

The Masa Chips founder talks about what I’m saying as well.

Amazon especially is a culprit for completely fake products, especially fats. Just be aware.

It’s probably not harmful whatever you’re purchasing, but just know there is a high likelihood that you’re being told it’s 100% grass fed or just normal grass fed just to upsell you.

Personally, I wanted to buy the tallow from Nostr, but my dear wife wanted the tallow today. 😅

That’s a shame because there’s literally 5-6 great tallow balm brands on nostr.

None that are tested to be fair, but I’d still be more inclined to buy from genuine nostriches than a random Amazon seller.

Agreed. It’s a 4 oz jar so I imagine we will go through it fast. Next time I’m buying from Nostr

Consider great ghee for your cooking fat as well

I’m actually about to run out of the organic ghee I buy from my local Costco and have had purchasing from you on my mind the last couple weeks. Do you sell any single jars?

I forgot, that’s right.

I don’t sell single jars, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase there’s a 30-day window to return them and get a full refund 🤙

Good to know! Heading to your site to buy now.

Awesome. Will get it packed and shipped here this afternoon. Please let me know what you think of it

This goes for the "beef tallow" craze by commercial restaurants and productions. There's no regulation on the amount of seed oils companies can mix with "tallow" and still be allowed to claim that it is tallow.

Kinda difficult to raise cattle on grass only during the winter.

It’s very possible - they are given hay.

But there are dozens of scenarios where cows can be given something to eat other than the grass on the land. And those cows will still be super healthy and product great meat, milk, and fats
