How long did it take you to awaken? You weren't born with a mindset like you might have now. It takes time for people to see reality for what it is.
Mark Twain said that " It's easier to fool someone than to convince them they have been fooled. " It takes time to wake people up. They aren't going to give up on their current illusion until they are forced by a sense of self preservation.
We are winning because there are more and more people who are starting to see the truth because they feel threatened by the current system.
You have to remember as well... At one point and time, there were far more people that used a horse instead of a car.
When you sign up for threads you can opt to follow everyone you already follow on Instagram. They basically already had millions of users primed to use Threads the second it launched. Nostr is not trying to win the same race as Threads, Instagram, or Facebook. Let them play their fiat startup games.
