So glad to see happy iPadOS users riding that developer preview.

Could've hated on Liquid Glass and some issues but instead, you're highlighting the positive stuff about it. ✊

Can't wait to try Android 16 on my tablet soon. 🌞

I like that my ipad is more usable now, but let's be real, this should have happened years ago, and there's no real innovation in removing artificially placed restrictions on a device.

I like that I can plugin my computer monitor easily. Looks beautiful

It finally does what the community has been asking for more than 5 years maybe even more.

I must try the monitors. my iPad is old though, a bit sluggish.

What has the community been asking for? Is the extensibility of the OS still tied to the iOS app store?

I should check, but i can confirm that safari is not different. extensions are now installed through safari extensions, which is different than how past apps/extensions used to be installed.

but if you are asking if you can install a dmg. i doubt.

Okay what is good about iPadOS 26 then?

window/multi-window support.

external display support.

a normal mouse cursor. lol

it now feels more like macOS.

I have an iPad 10, for reference. It was pretty smooth. Then again I don’t find it sluggish

Oh, and I’m not even on ipados26. So it’s not a new feature

That name sounds like an Irish /Spanish collaboration gone wrong πŸ˜‚

I have not upgraded my m1 ipadpro purely because I never got full use of that hardware. Installing 26 now and excited to check it out

You will probably see a lot of benefits on an m1.
