The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office has announced that the gunman who ambushed several firefighters earlier today on Canfield Mountain near Coeur d’Alene, northern Idaho—killing at least two and injuring several others—has been found dead by SWAT.
According to the statement, the “Shelter-in-Place” order has now been lifted. However, authorities note that a wildfire remains active on Canfield Mountain.
Should have more solid information after the press briefing this evening.
Truly an evil action to lure emergency responders into an ambush like that.
Still no word on whether there are more suspects at large, but the lifting of the shelter-in-place order would imply that the immediate threat is over.

Don't even get me started on the multiple school shootings every weeks and how Trump or someone else put a suppression order on the American media and they aren't allowed to talk about the school shootings anymore (either that or school shootings have become totally normalised to the point where Americans can't see an issue with it)
