We need to eradicate all tics. A scourge upon the earth

Chickens need to just be airdropped everywhere. There need to be giant gangs of roaming chickens. Enough is enough with these evil ticks

Guinea fowl are best I heard. Apparently one possibility would be to drop on tics with a gene drive that makes all offspring male. It would only take a handful of generations to destroy the tic population. This would be the one thing I would be in favor of genetic engineering for.

If anyone has or suspects please look into SAAT treatment. Very high success rate with no western medicine required... Great PSA GreatGhee

Fascinating. Thanks for sharing. I don’t have AGS, but have a healthy fear of it and basically don’t go where there are long grasses or woods in my area anymore because of it.

A lot of the population has it without knowing same as Lyme which can also be treated with SAAT. Always check yourself the disease needs 24-48 hours to transfer from tick to human so if you catch it early your good...

I love NOSTR being the best place to actually talk about important things. I agree I might get chickens...

Oooo I didn’t know about the timing either! We are religious about tick checks

Have you seen a difference on your farm with chickens on duty?

Zero ticks where there are chickens roaming 🫡

I work in the woods and swear by treating my clothes. I've had very good success over the last 5 years.

If I worked in the woods I would totally do this. But since I don’t I’d rather not have insect repellent on me 24/7

Earlier this summer I went to do yard work on our property out in Eastern KY, finished a long day of mowing high grass and weed eating. Came home with 20+ ticks on me including Lone Stars. Immediately picked them all off but also haven't been back to clear the property for the rest of this summer 🤣 I don't want that property overrun but appreciate meat more than I care about weeds at a place I don't go often.

Oh my gosh 🫨🫨

That’s wild.
