who's getting so angry?
those waiting to inherit their parents' houses
who tell you that this BITCOIN and NFT thing is useless
and that YOU SHOULD GO BACK TO THE MACHINE THAT WILL ONE DAY PAY MY PENSION
this "defection" hurts them
the more young people define their own system with their own rules, the more older people miss out
few realize this-except Warren Buffett, who early on called BTC “rat poison”
but he’s the rat
mostly, the old missed it
the bridge generation complains loudly, spreading BTC and NFT hate and pressuring artists and brands to stay away
what do they have to lose?
they’re late to the party, hoping to WIN AT THE OLD GAME
the well-positioned chattering classes, the media and academics want to inherit a system the young are refusing to join and actively working to undermine
the young lack power now but we will run the world soon. VERY SOON
and the few young defenders of the status quo who fight like demons to defend it do so only because they hope to inherit it
if the cultural system collapses before they inherit, they lose everything
value skips a generation
so when someone attacks BITCOIN or NFTs, ask yourself:
how old are they and what do they gain from the old system?
