Three and a half months ago I unexpectedly left my last fiat job behind after the company imploded. It was my third layoff in three years.
I put out the call on Nostr, where I had spent the entire year building a new community on a beautiful decentralized freedom protocol, and the outpouring of support was nothing short of heartstopping.
In the weeks that followed, while recovering from surgery, I talked to founders, builders, and dreamers who encouraged me to forge a new path doing what I do best in the bitcoin world. I went to Nashville for my first Nostr conference, met a giant flock incredible plebs in real life, and came back home inspired and rejuvenated.
