Didn't know you were from SD. I lived out there right after college leading kayaking tours in La Jolla.
One of my co-worker buddies had a surf pad down in El Zonte that I hit on the way up from working in Costa Rica and Nicaragua (pre-bitcoin days).
Lived in both countries and did a lot of backpacking through central america on various expeditions over the years.
Haven't been back in almost 20 years but plan to take my whole family down to Costa Rica next year to explore the southern pacific coast more ☀

Do you remember the shirts that were designed for the inaugural World Baseball Classic?
